Why I Created Trading with Diana
I created Trading with Diana because I saw a gap in trading education. On one end, there’s hype, shortcuts, and influencers selling the idea that trading should be fast and easy. On the other, there’s professional-level education that can feel overwhelming, technical, or out of reach. Most people are somewhere in the middle, overwhelmed by information and unsure who to trust or how to move forward.
Trading with Diana exists for that middle ground.
It’s for people who don’t want to gamble or chase ideas, but who also may not want to become full-time traders just yet. I meet people where they are and help them simplify the complexity of the markets in a way that actually makes sense.
This is no-fluff trading education, but it’s also deeply human. I’ve seen how learning to trade with structure and intention can change the way people think, not just about money, but about themselves. That’s why I do this.
How I Think About Trading
Most people aren’t struggling with trading because they lack the skills or intelligence. They’re struggling because they don’t have a clear framework for how to evaluate trades, manage risk, and make decisions. They bounce between strategies and second-guess themselves, which leads to frustration, burnout, and often, unnecessary losses.
At the heart of realizing success in the stock market is putting the probabilities in your favor. It means making more on your winners than you lose on your losers, managing risk, and staying disciplined when pressure shows up. You don’t need to be right on every trade. You need a process you can trust and the discipline to follow it.
What I focus on is helping you build a strategy and decision framework that fits your trading style, aligns with your financial goals, and gives you a clear way to approach the market so you can build wealth with confidence.
What I Do and Who I Work With
Through Trading Edge and private coaching, I work with individuals who want clarity, structure, and a repeatable way to approach the markets. Some are just starting out. Others have been trading for years and want to strengthen their foundation, expand their approach, or build on their existing strategy.
What they have in common is that they’re serious about learning and improving. They’re not looking for shortcuts. They’re looking for a way to stop guessing and start trading the stock market with confidence.
If you’ve ever felt like there had to be a better way to learn and grow as a trader, you’re not wrong. That’s exactly why Trading with Diana exists, and I’d love to support you on your trading journey.
MEET DIANA
“I knew from a young age that finance was my calling. At the age of 9, I was charging my sister interest on $5 loans (my “risk premium”), and by 12, I started my first small business venture. At 18, I negotiated my first car loan using the concept of the time value of money, pointing out to the car salesman that the second offer presented by his manager actually left me worse off than the first. (I recall using an unusually high 12% discount rate to prove this, but it worked.)
During college, a virtual trading competition fed both my competitive nature and newfound interest in the financial markets. Shortly after graduating with a degree in Accounting and Finance, I opened my first brokerage account. After nearly ten years in accounting and technology, I left my corporate career to join a proprietary trading firm as a full-time options trader. During my tenure with the firm, I had the opportunity to work with hundreds of options and currency traders. Working with this group of aspiring professional traders became the best part of my day, alongside closing out winning trades, of course!
Fast-forward to today. With more than two decades of experience across a diverse professional background—spanning public accounting, business process design, technology product management, global strategy consulting, and over fifteen years trading equities and stock options—I have found my passion in trading the financial markets.
With this, I have also realized a mission to help others who are eager to make sense of the financial markets so that they, too, may partake in the exciting world of stock trading.
And thus, Trading with Diana was born…”
